WOW, I think they showed up at ChiCha's tonight, with an entourage of great looking guys...how was their music?
-
I enjoyed them. They fit well as an opener for sts9 tonight. Electronic sounding music played by actual instruments is really growing on me. That poppy sound they had also made them fun. I'd see them again.

They also opened at the Tsunami Benefit for Thievery Corp's DJ set and fit well there too. They're good at what they do.

how was STS9? saw them a few years back in college, really liked the show ...

Sts9 have changed a lot in the last couple years. They're not much of a jamband anymore. They are more about ambient/downtempo music which they also do well. First set bored me a little but the 2nd was pretty high-energy throughout. It was only my 2nd seeing them and last night was the better of the 2 over all.

The 7-month-old kid likes the sound of this one, so it gets played a lot around the house. I'm always so excited when I get his approval because that means the wife will let me play it in the living room.
