Has this band been discussed yet, I can't remember either way. Pulled a track of thiers, "Summer of Protest" off Pitchfork and was like WOW this is fab stuff. Is the rest of thier output like this? Me thinks I could enjoy the heck out of this band. But are they already so last month....

No, they're actually next month... As in, they're opening for The Soundtrack of Our Lives on March 21st. See you there. :)

Singer's voice is a dead ringer of Morrisey. wow.

Singer looks like he's from Planet of the Apes. Wow!

I've seen them twice now and didn't enjoy them either time. Something about them bugs me and I can't quite pinpoint it. Perhaps it's how the singer sounds live. I haven't heard their recorded stuff.

They've been discussed before to a very low degree but nothing worth hanging onto. That's how most people seem to take to them. For the most part, the consenses for the past year or two, here and on all of the other boards that I frequent, are about the same. A few people really like them but most people find them kind of boring with a whole lot of them being irritated by the singer's voice.
I absolutely love the song "Summer Of Protest" but haven't really liked anything else from them. Too bad that sound doesn't carry through for the rest of their works.

At least on SOP it was partly the singers voice which really struck me... Then again I like Stew's from The Negro Problems voice as well. Their EP is up on eMusic, will have to download it this evening.

"Lost the Plot" is a good tune. Nothing innovative though. I think the singer sounds like Damon.
