Title: shows at university of md radio station

anyone ever been to one? what's the deal? is it worth the nutty friday traffic to see someone i really really like?

i can tell you that it will probably start a whole lot later than they want it to start. and there will be cockroaches crawling around outside south campus dining hall. and it probably won't be too crowded because promotion was never WMUC's strong suit.

i work in sterling and live in reston, so later is better, honestly. is it in south campus dining hall? slgtm haven't played here in 3 years, but were fantastic last time they were in dc

the radio station is in the third floor of south campus dining hall. the room is not too big, no stage, just a room. it will probably be pretty warm. they'll probably charge a few bucks if they can get their act together enough to get someone to be at the door.
 
 perhaps they have gotten their act together more since i left, but i wouldn't be so sure, especially over the summer.

Is this the same station where the DJs walked as they were being fired over the 24 hour rule?

where are you now?  on a friday, it's about an hour from bethesda to get down there.  it'll take anywhere from one to three if you try driving it.

definetely worth it. i've been to wmuc countless times over the past two years and they're good peoples. the bands are all good for next friday. i'll be there. should be a sweet show.

i don't know where Reston is, but i always am coming from Bethesda on the red line...just switch to green line at Gallery Place and ride out to College Park.  haven't been to the radio station yet, but it's a few minutes walk to campus from there...

there is a free shuttle from college park metro to the campus. runs every 15 minutes. it'll drop you off in front of the student union and then you hike it to south campus dining hall from there. you can take the shuttle from the metro even if you are not a student. there is a summer schedule though so you can probably to the um website and then click on shuttle-um.

i'm pretty sure it's the whole band. i'm definetely going. the band is so good and i don't know why the female singer wouldn't be there.

the girl vocalist was not there. but the bands were still so good.
