I listened to the Nationals album again last night after seeing it here. Nope, still don't like it. Nor the Arcade Fire.

Good to see the Black Lips and Sharon Jones on there as those are my fave albums at the moment.

Agreed. But Raccoo-oo-oon in a paste top 100 is a stretch. Definitely in my top 20, though.

They got #1 right, but #2 and 3 are laughable.  Neon Bible is a horrible excuse for a follow up to Funeral, and Bruce is on the list because he's Bruce, not because Magic is good.  By my count, i have 78 of the 100 of these in some form

I'm sorry, but am I the only person on here listening to the Virgins?  That's pretty much impossible.

I just feel like they are the next Strokes (in a good way) and I know they released just an EP this year but I haven't seen them on ANY lists...people may disagree with me, but I think this was one of the best rock EPs of the year.

I only own 11 of these, but can't say I've listened to the GBQ record since their concert.

My favorite for this year isn't on this list, and it's a bootleg of NPR's broadcast of the Stooges concert at the 930 on 4/5/07. That thing rawks!
