I don't think he really did get all that excited...the difference, though, is that many of Jackson's songs (in his very wide body of work) are more well-constructed than Bon Jovi's, and it is more of a contrast for a country-flavored act to do Michael Jackson songs than Bon Jovi songs. When you're being campy, you have to do it strong so people know it's camp. "Banjovi", or whatever, is just a forced play on words. Additionally, "Banjovi" are a group of some no-name guys, while Fulks has a pretty solid following...

Banjovi is not a real band. Its just some website that Dupek saw and they fudged the Bon Jovi logo to look like Banjovi
get it? and since rhett has a liking for country/bluegrass, which has banjos...you see where i am getting?
