is anyone going to one or all of the shows? looks like there are a ton of tickets left.
-
there's still tickets left for tonight's show. i tried getting tickets for friday and saturday and it looks like both are sold out.
-
hopefully tonights show will be full
-
Because being packed up against a bunch of smelly hippies is always the best way to a see a show.
I stopped by the Club earlier for tickets, and knew somebody big must be playing tonight. They had a real nice tour bus and a gaggle of emo looking roadie boys pulling shit off a tractor trailer.

I'd love to go, but $45.00? You've got to be kidding me!
-
How do you know there are a ton of tickets left? Fri and Sat are sellouts. Most you can try to buy for tonight is 10. Maybe there are 10 left? Or a ton?
-
Nah, once in college and their return the first time to 930 were enough. Fun shows, but enough for now. ;)
-
i thought it was a good show. enjoyed watching chris and people in the crowd dance lol.

HEY GRANDMA
3 from first LP! And lots from new one; they'll probably keep playing several from latest tonight and Saturday, but let's assume most of the other entries will be different.
Straight-up 2 hours. Thursday's start was exactly 15mins past stated 8:30.
-
it's nice going to a 930 show with a major act that is not over crowded. they kind of sounded like the stones exile on main street era meets the allman bros meets the dead.
-
Beautiful. Would have liked to hear more songs from the first 3 albums but Black Crowes at 9:30 Club is a treat regardless of the setlist.
-
yawn..boring show tonight.. they were great when they stuck to the rock and roll but way too much of the evening was like watching a bad phish/dead cover band..
are they trying to turn into a jam band? that shit was boring...much preferred their show at wolftrap a few months ago..
interesting they were allowing people outside to smoke..
-
to smoke what? cigarettes? or weed?
-
so here's the set list from last night.. .all in all i got lucky that i got to hear three songs from southern harmony including remedy/sting me... also it was nice to hear the slightly cheezoid she talks to angels..
but overall this concert was a wankfest...too many boring long solos that went nowhere...really it was like watching a band with a split personality.. sometimes wanting to the grateful dead while at other times staying true to their original stones/faces vibe.
GOODBYE DAUGHTERS OF THE REVOLUTION
STING ME
GO TELL THE CONGREGATION
BALLAD IN URGENCY

It seems like the Friday night crowd get the best set..
-
I heard Dave Grohl was at least one of the shows. Did anyone see him?
-
Nope.
