Title: How was the Starlight Mints show?
Post by: K8teebug on June 13, 2006, 02:11:00 pm
Just got back from the Northwest, including a visit to some of the places where Twin Peaks was filmed!  So, I missed the show.  I hope it was wonderful.

More importantly, how was the pie?

Quite good.  Not too heavily attended.  The band was in good form, this is their last big tour for a while as they have 3 kids on tour!  The other bands were entertaining, not too into the Dios Malos but they did well.  Octopus Project is LOUD.  Local openers were good, very American Analog Set, but they need to either (a) sing louder or (b) get brushes for the drummer.

I'm really sorry I missed it.  Glad it was a good show though!

The pie was fantastic.  Could've done w/o all the tweedy birds though.  I wish I could've gone before the main interior burned b/c some arsonist set it on fire.

Oh, that sucks! Probably some local woodsman who didn't like all the tourist attention.

It was a guy who went in and stole 450 bucks, and then set some fires in the kitchen.
