So people do lie when they put in a 2 week notice at work. My ex-co worker said she was going to move to NC when she put in her notice. Well, she didn't. I applied for this company and the boss said that she works there!!!!! Yep, still in Maryland. I don't know about you, but it's hard for me to lie when it comes to work.

maybe she wanted to spare her bosses feelings and lie about moving, instead of being truthful and saying she just couldnt stand the odor of her fellow workers anymore.

Hmmm...she left.Now your are applying at that new company too. Sounds like something up where you work regardless of what her excuse was.
