To the Shins thread? did someone swear too much?
-
maybe in addition to being banned from selling Black Cat tickets on here, we've been banned from talking about their shows as well.
-
F**k, tit, wank
sorry, just an experiment.

maybe buying=selling?
in any event, l&s is a bad, bad girl. ;)
-
where did it go? what happened?
did letters proposition someone....................again?
-
oh kosmo...where art thou shins thread?
-
shrug
-
you don't know?
It can't be gone for the ticket sales issue. I've only seen 'editing' here when personal attacks were getting WAY too personal (ie, addresses and shit posted online).
It can't be the cursing; my rant after the State of the Union was littered with the worst kind of profanity. I must have said Bush nine times! :p

more importantly
did letters and soda disappear with the thread?
where is that little blonde dynamo?
-
i didn't delete the thread, one of the other moderators must have. my spidey sense says it's over the ticket request title seeing as letter's other thread in the ticket forum went ttfn as well.

I think you must be okay as long as you don't title the thread with a plea for tickets. I think that's kind of inane. We all go to plenty of shows at both places. I understand the ticket exchange threads, cuz folks come on here just to use those....
Whatever.

hmmmm - apparently I missed something this afternoon.
Does this mean I can't ask who's going tonight?
-
be very very quite about it ;)
-

i'm going skeeter..........will you say hello?

i wonder if i'll be able to see the o.c. tomorrow night, and then be able to get into the club in time to see the shins. damn. . .probably just have to tape it. can't miss oliver with a gun. . maybe he'll cap himself.
-
If you live close, I think you can do both....we'll find out from the tuesday crew, but I don't think they'll go on until 10:30 - 11:00....

No offense, but before y'all met Lulu, did any of you have a frigging clue what "Oakley glasses" were? Markie always described his wife as having "Oakley glasses" and I though "what the hell are oakley glasses, is this common knowlesge or something?"
-
gee i'm so sorry..............for those of you who may not know what oakley glasses look like these........

I'll keep an eye out for you. We'll be the two old guys standing in the back - lol. kinda tall, very short hair, jeans/t/flannel shirts (probably).

i knew that oakley made glasses, but i'd only seen them referring to sunglasses. . .one of my first cars had a big "oakley sunglasses" sticker on the back window. . .

They were big in the late '80s. Every self-respecting frat-boy had one on his ride.
-
yup big in the midwest as well... how else do you think they sold all those overpriced sunglasses. it was because all the sheep could get the rad sticker for their ride.

that's much hipper.............
-
apparently, if you delete the first post on a thread, the entire topic goes away. oops.
nobody cares if you talk about going to shows at other places, but we've got rules about buying and selling tickets here. if it's for an imp or 9:30 show, use the ticket exchange. if it's not, use the website of the venue that's hosting the show.
-
From what I gather by reading this board, it's not your glasses that people are noticing anyway.
In case anybody wants to buy me a beer, here's what my glasses look like:

HERE HERE~!....Seriously.
You wouldn't be allowed to sit in the lounge of my showroom and use the courtesy phone to call Carmax and negotiate a purchase of a car there....for no other reason than it's just plain ignorant and disrespectful.

But I would like to come into your showroom to take a dump. Is that permissible in the manky rule book of etiquette?
