Looks like this will be a good movie. Post your reviews. Also has anyone seen the movie Ten?
-
Apparently just you? :)

goddamn you bull930 ... first you're just mildly annoying around here, now you get my hopes up that Daft Punk side project Stardust, creators of the catchiest song of all time (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hrjOhQZWU7k) were somehow touring

I generally avoid Bull's posts/threads like big girls at alcohol-filled parties, but I must confess & co-sign Hoya. This is one of the HOTTEST fuckin' songs I've ever heard in my life. In ANY genre. This joint used to KILL clubs back in '99, '00??? Good times . . .
Oooooooo, ba-bay . . . . .

hopefully this doesn't piss you off more hoya, but daft punk are incorporating "music sounds better with you" into their current show (clip from lolla (http://youtube.com/watch?v=rJuDNpBSv8M), clip from O2 (http://youtube.com/watch?v=gUV47Szjyek)). so in a way, they are somehow touring, or at least the song is :)
gawd, trawlin' youtube for daft punk vids and reliving a few moments from the show (the intro (http://youtube.com/watch?v=wPniroKwZ3g) was insane) just confirmed how frickin' good this show was. this dude (http://youtube.com/profile_videos?user=Shoegazzzer&p=r) has a good selection of vids. audio generally sucks and i doubt that these videos will convince many people of how good this show was... but it's putting my ass back on a plane to see them in vegas. after further digestion, this was definitely one of the top 10 shows i've ever seen - possibly top 5.
someday i'll get over it and start talking about something else.

did anyone go to see the movie?
-
stardust was great fun. on par with the princess bride, which is high praise coming from me.
-
i <3 Neil Gaiman. now if they can put neverwhere on the big screen, id be most excited. and im thinking anansi boys could easily be adapted for the screen.
and yes - i really loved this movie. michelle pfeiffer is really good in this movie and im not a claire danes fan, but she was watchable and i didnt seem to mind her. love the story!
-
yeah. it was pretty good. but i've been drifting in and out of a fake british accent ever since, and i keep saying these fantastical, cheesy things. . .
-
the neverwhere miniseries wasnt good enough for you?
Cant wait to see stardust. it was between that and Superbad this last weekend and Superbad won.
-
I'm a major Gaiman fangirl. I have all his records.
no really I am a fangirl. I saw this movie on opening night (giggling gleefully), and the next day, and I'll be seeing it again at least once, maybe twice. and of course I loved it.
what's wrong with Neverwhere the mini-series? I quite liked it, although I know that's sort of sacrilegious since Gaiman himself wasn't crazy about it.
-
there is nothing wrong with the mini-series at all. ive just always envisioned watching it on the bigscreen. no big deal if i never do. and doesnt matter for me so much, the book is sacred! actually my pic of mr gaiman and me is sacred!
-
you could just get a big screen tv.
-
thanks i already have a 50" :D
I didnt when I initially watched it. I'll just re-rent it and be happy.
-
you don't own it?? you are not truly a fan of Gaiman! *tsk*
