Baby Got Back

Holy shit. PM Dawn.

sorry about that... trying to figure out what to spin tonight...

The 300 pound African-American woman in the cube down the hall seems to always have a Christian radio station on.
-
I work in a library. A music library. Yet, one hears no music. How ironic is that?
-
You all are too paranoid that the master recordings will be ruined.
-
I work from home. The guy sitting in the same chair as me is listening to Candy's Room by Bruce Springsteen.
-
But what are the other "people" in the room listening too...

Some guy here is listening to the Sheena Easton song from one of the Bond movies. That and Dishwalla. Needless to say I hate this person.

One of my producers is a pretty devout Christian.....heavy churchgoer, church volunteer,etc......he's jamming some serious Hawkwind at present.....I think he was pretty wild in his pre-marriage days......one of my designers is listening to Negativland.....I'm on XM's new Channel 84 "Chill"......it's by & large not really that bad around here music wise....

No one else listens to music publicly around here but me. (chock full of iPods and headphones) {sigh} :(
I've got my Yahoo radio station on. Can't do the iTunes thing since my personal 16GB music library almost crashed the system.
Currently: Laid by Matt Nathanson. Earlier Sarah Vaughn, Blondie, Prince, and the Police. Pretty old school generic today.
In the car: The Walls and Mundy
Happy St. Paddy's Day!

I once mocked Matt Nathanson. Not something I'd done before or done since, but the guy was so full of himself (especially for a lame acoustic guitar strumming, Iota playing opening act), he just had to be taken down a notch.

nice choice of Irish bands for St Patricks Day....the first album by the previous incarnation of The Walls, The Stunning was the soundtrack to the summer of 1990 for many an Irish teenager

Thanks!
Really? I'll have to look into that album. I just got the new Walls album, New Dawn Breaking, from Joe at the Craic last weekend in NYC. It's soooo amazing. The tracks Passing Through and To The Bright and Shining Sun are pure pop ear candy. Very enjoyable!
What's the good Stunning's album title?
BTW, Mundy's midnight set was spirited, musically rich, and heartfelt. To have seen him in such an intimate setting (at Sin-E) was a gift. And he couldn't have been a nicer guy.

Bonus! Thanks! LOL
That's why I love this forum. We are all about the music. :)
Kelly, who's waxing & waning on whether to use her babysitting chits on the English Beat tonight...
