Title: will south sell out?

yes? no? i can't get there until nearly 11.30 and didn't pick up tickets yesterday. but didn't know if it was now selling rather briskly due to the 2 for 1 deal-o?

I think the fact they're doing the two'fer dealio is a sign it's far from selling out.
 
 If I make it it will be last minute also, so it better bloody not!

lily, if you want the two for one coupon, PM me with your email address and I'll send it -- definitely won't sell out, or they'd never do the 2-for-1.
 
 Buzzcocks was also a Sat night, with a 2-for-1, and the place wasn't half full (which is just sad for all those folks who *didn't* go!).
 
 There's gonna be quite a few board folks there...

South was not tight at all. Singer's voice had a tendency to go out of tune and he should have never been allowed to touch the bass guitar. Their live set lacked any energy in my opinion.. Metric, on the other hand, put on a fantastic set! I expect good things from them.

That's a bit harsh, I think...Yeah, South pretty much fulfilled the synopsis I read in another review somewhere--"if these guys were any more laid back, they'd be asleep."  But they wer solid enough.  I think anybody would pale in comparison to Metric.  Emily Haines is her own little club o' one.
