Good show... The audience was moving and grooving for the English Beat for the entire 100 minute set. Dave Wakeling did the show without a setlist and there was lots of interaction with the audience. Dave's still got a great voice, but it was like seeing General Public doing English Beat songs, there was something missing beside Ranking Roger.
If you like "Runaway Train" then Soul Asylum didn't disappoint, a raucous hit filled 50 minute set, almost as if they are warming up for radio festival season...

i had wanted to reach back to an early U2 b-side but they are all trapped on vinyl... picked October over Boy because it's get less attention...

i heard this song twice on the radio while driving home after seeing mogwai a couple weeks ago.
i drove out to the lexington KY show, which is approximately 500 miles from where i lived.. then drove 500 miles home. (well, i went to the charlottesville show on the way home)
