Hangin out with my friend @ at the concert, we both were there to OBVIOUSLY have fun! So This girl was sitting on this "staff designated stool" at the side of the club. After she got up, this other girl who didnt look like staff, came around to talk to the other staff, and she was standing so I decided to sit my @$$ on the stool. Apparently the girl got mad. I did not know she was staff, though I probably should have, it should not matter whether I sit on a FREAKING stool, lol and this girl started tripping, and got attitude saying that I couldnt sit there! LOL so I said you were standing there, so too bad, lol so she called another staff guy lol to handle her business b/c she couldnt, thus he got in my face and was super rude...Then this other guy with a little beard on his chin, who apparently thinks he knows everything felt like my point of view was not important, and relied on what the girl said, saying that she said she identified her self as staff, WHATEVER!! lol regardless, I should sit wherever and if she had a problem, handle her own and say something to me, instead of crying to some staff guy! JUST WANTED YOU 930 forum peepz to know how the staff is and how wack they are...LOL ALL OVER A STOOL! lol why, b/c they like to have power trips, lol regardless of whether i was drunk or not, being able to sit on a stool, lol should not be an issue! SO THERE YA GO! lol just wanted to bust that out...time to go shopppppin so haave fun people! :-D

In essence, you sat where you shouldn't have and instead of saying sorry and moving gave someone lip about it.
And how is this whole thing not your fault?
If it is so minor to you why would you seek out this forum and post about it. Seems to you it wasn't a minor thing either.

lol just because you probably know thet staff like that or are the staff possibly, does not mean that they rock according to others got it?! but its all good, b/c everyone else Ive talked to thinks that was a pretty crappy deal, so a staff member getting mad at someone who sat down on a stool...is too funny esp. the girl who couldnt handle her own and had to call over her staff guy...that sucks you actually think like that...its not like I sat behind the bar lol or behind the sound system equipment!! UNDERSTOOD?! alrighty no worries b/c clearly your brain is unable to fuction and understand how stupid that whole situation was...take care...peaace.

the funny thing is had you asked to sit in the stool , they probably would have let you for a couple minutes... as far as why the other staff person was called over is probably due to procedure... like it or not bounderies are set in this world and you'll end up causing yourself trouble continually trying to cross them.

I agree there are procedures...then again Why should I ask to sit...I honestly truthfully did not know it would have been an issue, and the fact that the girl did not have the ability to talk to me and understand where I was coming from was not cool...and if it was such an issue to her, there is a way to say that to someone instead of putting her finger in my face and saying "YOU CAN"T SIT THERE" lol in a totally not cool tone. THAT'S IT! AND like I said earlier, having to ask to sit is dumb, it should be courtesy, and if the stupid girl had to sit, why did she have to sit when i sat down?! lol exactly! :-D SHOULD NEVER HAVE TO ASK @ a club to sit! Period.

To Kosmo: Also...my sober friend watched everything and how rude they were at approaching the situation...Calling me a liar when I may have not heard her say she was staff, which saying she was staff was completely irrelevant to sitting, lol is just wack...ESP. where a concert is going on and your right next to the speakers! AGAIN..IT WAS A STOOL! Whatever. What if i was standing where the girl was standing, would she freak out also about that? There is a way to talk to people which is why after their rudeness came out I was also straight up rude! I guess that is just how some people are, it sucks for them that they cannot get the full scope of a situation, but I guess that is just the way it is.

AND I DID...alright b/s over..lol was to simply state that what happened that night was Sh*tty ya know! thats that! :D there is not hate for the staff, lol there are some cool staff people that work there, but the ones who were jerks obviously weren't! I disagree. Based on your "logic" I should be able to just walk backstage and sit there if I want to. Right? In a similar situation, lets say you see a couple sitting on stools, one gets up to go to the restroom or for a drink. Would you just sit in their seat or would you first ask? If the former, would you be shocked if they chewed you out?

Someone elses stool, not just "a stool". I am too dumb. I am sure your friends agree with your side of the story because you have only told it from your admittedly biased perspective. Have them come on here (the moderators can tell if it is you coming on under another name) and buttress your side. As it is, I suggest you meet the guy who dropped his cup from the second story towards a trash can and was shocked he was thrown out.

since this continues to be such a big issue for you I suggest that you mention it in the FAQ forum as thats where you'll get an official 9:30 club response. or email thatguy@930.com or call the club box office.
