Title: Convention Center IMPLOSION!

7:30 in the AM.

Anyone going to "spectate"?

Someone was saying how that Convention Center introduced many people to Downtown DC who otherwise would have never ventured from the Mall and Monuments. But I wonder about that, because for many of its first years of life, that was a neighborhood where you could get mugged or worse if you weren't careful.

I heard it from my house near the Black Cat. I tried to wake up for it...really I wanted to come down and watch it crumble!
