The Prodigy is Playing Nation on Thursday. Last time I saw those guys was in June 98 when they played 9:30. The tickets say doors at 7 does anyone know when they'll actually go onstage?

I'll give you the cost of overnighting them and give them away at the show.

Phenomenal. Alot of moshing idiots but the band was nothing short of incredible.

the set picked up some momentum as it went on, but i was not overly impressed. the show at the club a few years back was much better.
maybe i'm just getting old, but the crowd was really annoying last night. within three minutes of walking in, i broke up a fight and got a drink thrown on me. my interactions with the crowd didn't improve much after that.
since the visuals were unimportant, i slipped around the corner where it was less crowded and cooler, and enjoyed the rest of the show much more.

Concur.

I think the show was vastly different depending on where you were watching it from. The energy (and idiot factor) was intense at the front, but when I moved back, the show definitely lost something for me. Anyone else notice that Keith's mic was off for 3/4 of the show?

3/4ths is an exaggeration, but yeah, I did notice. That guy must lose 4 pounds per show as much as he was jumping around and stuff though.

Sounds like a fun time...sorry that I missed it. They were really good at Coachella last year. Did they play anything from the Experience LP? That's my favorite of theirs.
So is Nation really closing?
