Physical Graffiti in it's entirety, followed by a greatest hits encore. That'd be my wish. I have a boot from that tour that's incredible.
-
wow, that must have been a long show - would definitely take more than two hours to get through that list, if solos/improvisations were anything like back in the day.
ramble on is a strange choice for #2. i would have gone with some more straight-up.
since i've been loving you: one of their greatest recordings, and consistently worse live songs. plant had problems hitting the notes back in the day, i doubt that 27 years have helped much.
definitely interested in hearing the boot... you know it's coming.
-
Now that this is all over, can we please send them back to the old age home?

Wow.
09. No Quarter
11. Dazed and Confused

Opening with Rock N Roll would have been perfect.
-
I DO like "Wearing and Tearing." That, along with "Hard To Explain" by the Strokes and "I Get Along" by The Libertines are the three greatest songs to "make love to" ever.

i'm not sure if its jimmy's "black magic" history catching up with him, but to me it appears as if he is resembling aleister crowley with a nice white mane.
just watched the various clips already posting on youtube . . . and i'm on the fence. sometimes it sounds great, sometimes tired.

Wow, your pooch is one lucky dog.

i didn't know this, but apparently this was the first time that "for your life" was played live.
links to several reviews (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/7138311.stm)

I'd totally go see them. Given that the Who put on a better show than almost anyone else I saw this year, Zep would give them a run for the money. I'd bet it would be entertainment just to be around 20,000 people losing their minds on "Stairway" and "Kashmir".
-
I was considering getting tickets when they tour for my folks...Zep is their favorite band every. But since they saw them at their peak, I've been waiting until I hear some reviews. Sounds decent, so far.
-
The reviews were great and its a strong, diverse setlist. In My Time of Dying - and probably all the songs from I - must have been incredible, but I wouldn't kick any of those songs out of bed.

Not to mention the formation of a "fan club"
Not sure I could cough up more than say $150 to see the Zep. Wont be feeling the need to be up close and personal so a "decent" seat in the arena if fine by me, as long as a second mortgage isn't required to do so.
Led Zep along several other bands of note at Bonnarroo could be the way to go...
