apologies about this post, but...
 Who was the friendly boardie that came into the bike shop yesterday and recognized me?  I really apologize that I was so busy/flustered...

 How cruel of them to have your first day be a Sunday. Still I bet the time flew by. (So, err how is the staff discount  :)  )

Thanks for your patience with me.  I did enjoy the work though.  It's so funny, after years of blathering about bicycles to my friends, I'm now getting paid to blather about bicycles to people who actually want to hear it.  Go fig.
 
 But the employee discount doesn't kick in until my probation is over.   :(   I mean, I really took the job in part because I need some track cranks for my surly.  The Deore's are just shameful looking.

 Ahh, but the garrot is my weapon of choice, I don't even own a bike.
 
 As for deore..... I am sure they are very functional. I turn my nose up haughtily.
