To me minor and surgery don't go together.

Good luck, guess it is outpatient?

At her age I would assume wisdom teeth.  That one wasn't that much fun.  Still have the teeth in a jar though.

good luck...... If it is wisdom teeth be sure to have one made into the zipper pull for your favourite jacket.

If I keep ignoring my wisdom teeth will they go away?

I must have had the best wisdom teeth extraction experience ever. Had 2 extracted and 2 cut out in the same day. Don't even remember going down when they woke me up but I was totally out of it and supposedly had a big smile on my face. Went home only to eat a gigantic delicious bloody rare steak, a salad, and all of the trimmings. Ate every last bite. Took a couple hours though. He gave me percodan for the pain and I never ate so good in my life. The only problem I had was with sandwiches because it was too hard to open my mouth that far. Everything else, when there was a will, there was a way. The secret is in the front teeth and the saliva.

lol I had my wisdom teeth out over a year ago.  this was a female-y surgery.  no gassing...just valium & vicodin.  thankfully not too much pain, and I'm all loopy & painfree now, so it's all good!  thanks guys, I was scared shitless  :)   so glad to have it finally over with

I have to agree with Jaguar, having my wisdom teeth taken out was a great time. Luckily it was also free since i was in the military. Got gassed up real good and next thing i knew i was being wheeled to my room as i was pointing and laughing at everyone in the hallway. They ended up giving me tylenol three so i pretty much slept the next three days including at the movie theatre when i went to see "What about Bob". Then again you dont need tylenol three to fall asleep to that movie. My date kept waking me up, guess i musta been snoring. If i could do it all again....I would   :)

Never had my wisdom teeth out...guess I don't have any due to my lack of wisdom.

Why are they called 'wisdom teeth'?

I did the local for my wisdom teeth, nothing like seeing bits of bone and smoke coming out your mouth.

I think they are called wisdom teeth because they come in when you are older and I guess have gained wisdom.  I always thought that in the past when you would lose teeth, these would come in to help fill the spaces, but now that isn't necessary.

Glad you got through the sugery all right.

When I had my wisdom teeth out, they gave me codeine..made me sick...I had bruises on my jaw, and made a bad movie selection, "Bram Stoker's Dracula".

I don't actually have any wisdom teeth.  Does that make me less wise, or more highly evolved?
