I can't find anything to do. A friend wants to go to a bar. I don't see anything good.

Parking my ass on the couch and watching the radiohead current tv In Rainbows live thing.
I didn't do anything special for new year's last year and kinda liked it so I'm doing that again.

Watching Ric Falir vs Triple H on TV and trying not to fall asleep. Since my son woke me up at 4 am today, I see me conking off early though. I did have yummy indian food...

We watched Beneath the Planet of the Apes starring Charlton Heston, on AMC!

I have a decent amount of friends who went to that. Would've went up there if I had known that tickets were pretty much being given away in the parking lot.

saw foreign islands last night and a bunch of other bands at the knitting factory. the show was a bit out of control, but very fun. neimo - parisian dance band - were really great and we all had a great time dancing our asses off.
my favorite part was later in the eve when they were doing karaoke and the bassist of foreign islands was up first singing 'i believe in a thing called love' from the darkness. impressive!

I caught Dirty Projectors as they were on at 11:30. Didnt catch those other bands as I was on another floor watching the others. Dirty Projectors were good, but I have never been a huge fan of them. The early part of the set was a bit boring, just slow and dragged on, but then it really picked up.
