Title: black cat has new pa cabinets/speakers

i have not been there in a couple of months.  caught some of animal col after stereolab.  sounded real good.  they have the same cabs as 930.  maybe newer.  the sound should be better from now on.

new speakers are one thing... but the final sound has a lot to do with other factors, the soundperson behind the board, the bands and their equipment, etc.
 
 lots of complaints were aired about the old soundsystem at the black cat, however for the Delgado's show with the added string players, their soundperson made them sound amazing... i even complemented him on a job well done.

Wow, they went EAW?  I liked the sound of the JBL boxes they had, worked well for that room.  Much better than the old room and the old room's system.  Bummed me when they got rid of the Soundcraft 800 board, I loved that thing.
