According to DCRTV, good ol' Big 100.3 will be changing format soon, either to a sports talk station or some sort of Jack/classic rock station. Oh well...it is actually the most listenable station on the air in DC most of the time, IMO. Why we can't at least have a AAA station is beyond me...

we do have some great oldies and AAA stations here...
XM 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 45, 50, 73....

That sucks. This is really the only (non npr)FM station I ever really tune to. As an oldies station it's pretty weak though.
Pretty soon we'll all be able to stream our own content from the house to the car....FM radio is in its twilight. Duh.

If BIG goes I just may have to end my boycott of XM for their absurd policy banning not-new indie. Oh well.

there is no such policy.
I just find it weird that anyone cares about what's going on with terrestrial radio. It's totally irrelevant to anything in music these days

J'Mal, tell me about all the pre-2001 indie music XM is playing, then. Oh wait, they play zero. By design.

i thought indie just started in 2002? ;)
