Yeah, as long as they keep making great videos, I'll keep watching! It's always fun to watch how an artist will visually represent their songs.

Here's where i disagree - I usually find it quite unpleasant to see how an artist will visually represent their songs.
-
some artists are very involved with the creation of their videos. others couldn't care less, or don't have a vision and need to farm it off to a production company that comes up with ideas on its own, the labels sometimes step in and interfere, etc. maybe the band needed a video, comes across a film student who has a cool idea for a short, and says "sound good to me" - independent of the relationship between the music and the visual.
so i wonder how visually representative of the artist's vision the video truly is.
-
wow!! That justice video is disturbing. i would have to pick that as the best.

guess that's what happens when you listen to too much Justice?!?
speaking of justice vids - did the one for "DVNO" come out this year, or was it 2007? it's pretty darn cool and way stylish so i'd nominate it as my "best video of the year" (not a particularly high honor, i realize, given how narrow the field is).

I'll take the Justice video.
So awesome.
Not to mention I would pay a decent amount of money for that jacket.

You're right, with them not being 100% involved. I guess I was saying that I like watching visual representations of the songs, regardless of who is behind it.
