Me and the ladyfriend are trucking down there after the Jenny Lewis show. Anyone else going? Feels like a really long time since they played DC.

I recommend this show -- if I weren't on a tight schedule tonight, I'd hop over after (or during) Magic Numbers myself.

I saw them when they opened for Sleater-Kinney a few years back.  They were excellent.  So is the new album.

Really? I have all of their albums and I consider myself to be a big fan of the band, but this new album of theirs is my least favorite by a wide margin. Maybe it's because it's such a departure from their previous stuff and I'm being too closed-minded? My main complaint is that it's just too electronic-y.

"Standing..." is the only one I have, so I couldn't really compare.
