When asked about his favorite record stores:
"Then when I was in the States, the one where I found a ton of good records was called Red Onion Records in Washington,
D.C. When we go on tour, when we have a morning off before we go sound check or something, we tend to start walking around the city and look for thrift
stores or record stores. This place I just sort of stumbled upon. It's really tiny. They had tons of good old original Fairport Convention, Richard and
Linda Thompson, Devo, and I bought Grace Jones and a ton of different records."
Pretty cool, I thought.

weird. as much as i like josh (red onion's owner), i don't think red onion comes close to som records or even crooked beat. it's a decent store, though some of his vinyl tends to be overpriced. i find the occasional gem there, but som is a real goldmine.
