Title: CC charges vs cash at box office

on the VFest website, it mentions that there are additional charges for buying tickets with a credit card at the 930 box office: "The only charges are credit card fees, so if you pay with cash, there are no additional charges at all."
 
 is this always the case?  if i use my credit card on-site for regular 9:30 tickets, is there a CC fee?
