Title: need some help in D.C.

okay here goes...recently moved East from  Milwaukee, so I'm not at all familiar with D.C. That being said, I need some help...was only in D.C. once ( last weekend for Built To Spill show ) but am planning a trip down ( from Pennsylvania ) to see Bad I mean Soul Brains next month. Are there any " cheap " hotels near the 9:30 club? I'm definitely staying for the evening, D.C. has me pretty impressed at the moment. So if you could tell me where I could stay, I'd really, really apreciate it. Thanks!

Cool to stay:  The Helix or rouge.  Cheap to stay:  Red Roof Innn on H St or somewhere out of town.
