Title: Ben Folds sellout

I'm finding it really hard to believe that the Ben Folds show sold out in such a brief period of time. (And yes, I'm aware that the presale sold out.) I've seen him several times in San Francisco and once in Baltimore, and tickets were still available at the door on the night of all those shows. Does he have a new massive hit single that I'm not aware of, or is he just really, really popular around here?

the last few times he played here were at larger venues than the 9:30, he also has a new album coming out, so i imagine there is a single as well, I believe it is called Landed

when i went to buy a ticket i saw that the show was sold out but went to buy a ticket anyway. it let me buy a ticket, which struck me as strange.
