I heard Annie L. sing her Lord of the Rings song at the grammys (or one of those award shows) and I'll tell you, she still has one hell of a great voice and still easy on the eyes.  I would much rather see her than Simon & Frofunkel!!!

Are you kidding, Mank?  These 'blockbuster' and reunion-type summer tours have been going on forever.  I have no reason to defend S&G, but this is certainly not their doing.

I thought she overemoted, and looks more like an ugly dude now than ever before.

I think that she's great and has an amazing voice and range, but that song blew.

And yeah, she was wearing a pretty decent awards-show kind of gown, but still looked like a transvestite...(Her eyes are incredible, though.)

Bags, I started this thread just for you....you do to take the bait easily.

I would see Annie Lennox in a heartbeat, but together with Sting would  be too much. I saw her sing at the Oscars and thought it was a bad song for her to sing. Her voice seems too powerful for that song so it was obvious she had to hold back...well that was my observation anyway. I'd definately do her though!

Anyway, Tom Jones is on tour so I'm saving my concert money in case he comes to DC.

Your right RJBalls-on-chin, especially since you know more about ugly dudes than me!

Bags, you are right the song sucked, but her voice was great.  And her eyes were mesmerizing; for a 50 year old woman she looks good to me. Her Medusa CD is one of my favorite shag CD's.  And yes Mankie, I also would do her - probably to the Medusa CD - how weird would that be?

I think you and Rhett must have met for coffee recently....'how to bait Bags' -- I'm on the lookout for R&C, but have remained vulnerable to your seemingly neutral intentions.

I'm an easy target, so not sure that you get all that many props, though I'm sure you sit giggling in your fancy showroom...

She looks like my deceased grandfather.

If he were still alive, I'd introduce the two of you...

Oh come on bags.....you can't compare me to Rhett, I've only done it twice and they were for fun. Rhett gets personal and vindictive.

Your Grandaddy had a sex-change job then?....explains a lot about your confusion regarding your own sexuality. It's always the family's fault, any therapist will tell you that...

I still say she's a very attractive woman...and looks damn fine for her age.

You're right, Mank.      ;)
But I've made it so easy, you may just make it a regular pass-time.  Hell, even Markie's jumped on that bandwagon too, though that's just to hide is raging love for me...

Well I guess we all have our individual tastes.

There are plently of attractive 50 year old women in the world... so the "for her age" tagline seems sort of condescending to the 50 yr olds of the world...but to me, annie lennox is not one of them...

I just checked tics for Tom.

Holy bloody mackerel!! Have they lost their freakin minds????

 Seating - $159 - $300
 Lawn - $45

The lawn is shite at Wolftrap so it looks like Tom will have to perform without my undies on stage!

Actually, I've always had good experiences on the lawn at Wolftrap. Get there early, get a good spot, eat your picnic, drink your bottle of wine...

I saw "Lord of the River" there and had a miserable time on the lawn with people stepping on us all the time. They just sell too many tic's for the lawn, and Tom Jones will sell out also so I think I'll pass seeing as there's no way I'm shelling out big $$$ for seats.
