that actually sounds lovely.  i enjoi reading the names of the acts and getting to the ones where you have no clue who they are.  dmb trying to make a comeback this year?  ween and mars volta sold the whole show.

i might be commuting out to SF around then.  if so, i'll definitely be sticking around that weekend for the festie.

oh, and Jason Mraz, Modest Mouse, Incubus, Beastie Boys.

  the top 3 lines of that festival makes me wanna barf. and then it just turns very pleasant.

West Indian Girl are still around? Thats awesome but hope they might be playing other shows outside of SF. I never see their name much anymore.

this is an awesome place to have a festival! You cant go wrong with San Francisco. Great people, great food, and great city. Plus Golden Gate Park near the end of the summer. Its a perfect time. And I love all the festival choices. Not like most of us can enjoy all the UK and European festivals.

And Im sure if MBV was playing - youd probably not be complaining. Oh wait you would! About why they still arent playing in DC. :)

There wasn't  a deluge of them every summer in the US until maybe 3-4 years ago.
