the ottawa blues fest is also coming together nicely, in case someone happens to be in canukistan this summer.

I saw the travelling version of the Newbury Folk Festival at Merriweather about ten years ago, and it was two stages, general admission.

why would there not be a dance tent ?? the dance acts have always been what seperated VFest from APW - I thought APW was supposed to be the East Coast verion of Coachella, but given the non-inclusion of dance acts/dj's it has yet to impress me in the slightest.

Oh I totally agree, I just fear that because of the economy and the possible change of location to MPP, it could also mean a scaled-down version of the festival. Seeing Underworld, Moby, Ritchie Hawtin, and RitM last year was what really made V-fest stand out for me.
