Yes, this is Faust's first US tour since the '90s. This is NOT to be missed. They still put on one of the most mindblowing performances you'll ever see. We (Sonic Circuits organizers) are basically shitting ourselves at the chance to bring Faust to DC.
And Jandek is nothing to sneeze at: this will be his first DC performance as well. Add to that Andrew WK, Gunter Hampel, Even Parker/Ned Rothenberg, Elliott Sharp, and Health, and we have one solid lineup. And I'm pretty close to confirming this band that begins with an "S" and ends with a ")))".
Is Rick Bishop and Jana Hunter playing in DC on Thursday? Where?
Friday night in Philly is retarded: Odean Pope/Sunny Murray duo at the Philadelphia Art Alliance, then Rick Bishop and Jack Rose at JB's.
