Title: the Goo Patrol

yes, the new Snow Patrol song, "hands open" sounds exactly like the Goo Goo Dolls.
 
   so, why are the goo goo dolls terrible crap, yet, Snow Patrol a kickass band?
 
  scotland?   or cause they namedrop Sufjan Stevens?

 but obviously its just me...for if a more reputable source claimed the two alike...we wouldnt all love them, now would we!?

I don't love them. Who said we all love them. Both bands you mention are horrible crap.

I love early Snow Patrol and am bored with their later works. A little too watered down and just not as interesting.
 
 I won't even bother discussing The Goo Goo Dolls as they aren't worth my efforts.    :confused:  
 
 Not sure about the similarities. Maybe if I listened to both and thought about it.

well, everything the goo goo dolls did after superstar car wash is basically terrible crap, if that makes any difference

after hearing a few more songs from the new album, "Hands Open" is really the only "goo" sounding song......but its pretty watered down, to be sure.....my girlfriend will love it!
