Any graphic artistes on the board? I'm trying to do something that I think would be a snap for anyone with the right skills or software but I'm struggling with it in MS Paint.
I'm designing the cover for my end of year mix CD and want to use this picture

But instead of the ball, I'd like Thierry "Ennui" to be handling a CD.
If anyone could help me out with this I would really appreciate it!

do you have a higher quality copy of this picture?

I do not - I've been mainly relying on google search to find images of this

Might'st I recommend Gimp? It's a freeware image editing software for Windows, Linux, and Mac. Unless you're running a graphic design firm, there's no reason you need anything else.

I can give it a try via photoshop if you don't mind waiting a few days. Got some finals to worry about right now, but it looks doable, even at that resolution.

I can work on this one a bit but a clearer picture to start would give a better result at the end.
