I'm eagerly anticipating G.

Is anyone really going to see The Wreckers? Everything about them is completely annoying.

Thanks for mentioning that! I hadn't heard anything about it. I might try to head down there for that. Will Boris be releasing a new EP at this show?

at the risk of blowing what little "cred" i have..  was listening to the Wreckers songs on their website while doing research for what to take along to the show for djing with, i didn't find myself wanting to do bad things. nothing i would normally run out and buy, but it was fun pleasant listen...

Not sure about that but I'm sure they will have copies of the full CD. If I find out anything, I'll try to remember to let you know.

K. Simon Dawes at Jammin' Java on Saturday.  If you are going to see Silversun Pickups, come to this gig.  If you are in favor of good rock n' roll music, come to this gig.  Do it.

Nope.  Actually, I don't officially streat team for Simon Dawes.  Not for money - not for anything at all.  I just enjoy spreading good music.  I plug them because I think they are great, they write fun, catchy music that is better than quite a bit of the shit that's out there right now.  I think a lot of people on these boards would like their live show.  They don't come around this area often just yet, and you should jump on board and come see them this weekend because it's going to be some good, fun, rock and roll.

They just finished a string of dates with The Walkmen, too, so if you like The Walkmen...come...
