To sum it up: There are 2 guys. The one if front looks like he just got beat up. Then there is a guy just behind him (the wimpier one) shielding himself as though saying 'No! No! Please don't hit me. It took me all day to get this Emo Goth look!'

Apparently, shiny toy guns is about all they have to defend themselves.
