Above-ground Metro stations are closed Sunday, and Metrobus will be down as well. I'm dying to see the Residents, but with our street nowhere near dug out and no way to get home after the show, we're hating having to eat our tickets. We'd have to walk six miles on un-shoveled sidewalks just to make it to a working Metro station (and remember, Residents fans are, by and large, OLD).
Did the band make it to town after their Friday night show in Atlanta?

It's a go as long as they're still selling tickets online. I'm also bummed because I'll have to miss them but looking at the club's calendar, rescheduling them for anytime soon would be difficult/impossible.

Says the guy who finds attending a show outside of DC to be a whine-worthy offense.

A once in a lifetime concert and I'll be iced in at home and eating my tickets
I guess pissing away 80 bucks is better than crashing my car!

Please understand, I really want to go.
Mr. Plow, where are you?

Who has tickets at will call? Maybe I can buy one for cheap?

Guess it will be a nice small intimate show for those who do make it.

any reports from last night? how crowded was it...I'm guessing not very crowded at all w/ the snow and the superbowl.
Was the show still on?
Did Trey Anastasio's band open?

I forgot that Trey is a big Residents fan.
