And I'm pretty sure Sawyer just plagarized himself from the last time Nada Surf played in town, but just added the Depeche Mode reference...

Post by: Thousand Made-Up Loves on April 05, 2010, 08:45:33 am: Nobody wants to hear Popular. If they play it once or twice a year, that's fine, but hopefully not at my shows. There are just too many awesome songs the band has available to waste on a song only the fairweather fans want to hear.

I was pretty meh on the new covers. I think Enjoy the Silence was a nice effort, but the other ones, I didn't really care for. If they're gonna play covers, where the hell is There is a Light That Never Goes Out?

Earned a new found respect for The Way You Wear Your Head. And the band was just red fucking hot all night.

10 out of 10. As awesome as always. And they played Hyperspace. I have nothing to complain about.

Anybody see any tapers?

I would actually like to hear Popular live. I don't think I ever actually heard that song until after I had owned Let Go and The Weight is a Gift. So for me, it's like a lost rarity.
