Title: Stereo Repair
Post by: ggw on June 25, 2010, 01:10:18 pm
Anyone know a good stereo repair shop?   The phono jacks on my receiver have gone bad.  The closer to Arlington, the better.

Muchos gracias.

sorry . . . everything is on the internet.  pretty soon you'll have to buy stereos that can have annoying uploads or that can be fixed through a internet access (wireless too) connection download, which will in sense put all people who sell stereos or fix them, out of business.  man, sorry that you had to read this as well.

Is there a TV repair place by El Charrito Caminante? I assume TV repair places would do both. Or this guy maybe: www.varkaudio.com (although he deals with pro recording gear mostly, I think).

Also, I remember there used to be a TV repair place up lee highway near the German Gourmet (across the street).

There's a good place up Silver Spring way, right near the Quarry House.  The place feels old school and they get the job done.

That Glebe Electronics store on Lee Hwy is still there but the lights are never on and they don't answer the phone.

I'll try Washington Electronics.

Thanks for the tips.
