RACK Yeasayer, Thievery, Pavement and last but certainly not fucking least LCD. Un-fucking-real. What a shame this is the last go-round for Murphy and LCD. They keep it real. Rack Seth for putting together a great lineup and thanks to Virgin and the sponsors for making it free. Thanks to Merriweather for the $8 24oz beers, a real deal compared to 9:30 and Nats Park and assorted venues.
All in all, a great fucking day and I am more than appreciative that I was able to attend. Merriweather rules, fuck Bristow. Wish I could have caught some of Sleigh Bells and Ludacris to see Roll Out, but that's how festivals roll. Dance Tent sounded like it was kicking ass all fucking night. Rack the lack of traffic leaving the venue.
And of course, rack the 95 deg heat bringing out the scantily clad hot babes. Merriweather was on fire all fucking day and I was ecstatic to participate in the ceremonies.
10 out of 10. Perfect day. Now let's get a Skinnies win tomorrow.

I think TMUL's account got hacked ;)

hacked by somebody who needed to be heard beyond just the other thread already dedicated to this topic. i guess opinions only matter when they are distant from those who also went.

my hacked comment was a joke, because normally TMUL goes on a negativity rant...

Being a bitter fuck is no way to go through life. But you seem to be enjoying it just fine.

^ Whoa! I think I walked into the kitchen while the pots and pans where banging it out. :o
-
nah, it's the pots and the kettles.
but i'm sure walkies appreciates your use of "banging it out" ;D

I think it makes sense to have a thank you thread of sorts distinct from the main thread!..
I have to say all the IMP staff were great!....from the person at the 930 ticket window from whom I picked up tickets to the bar staff at 932 to the security people etc....heck even to Seth answering a question here or there on the forum..
If the security people had gotten me that LCD setlist (and it was very very close) I'd give it an A+
;D
Definitely feel very lucky to have seen LCD and Pavement- two bands I definitely was GOING to see one way or another- as part of this Festival.

Mods might want to edit the thread title as that will cause some forum members to be blocked from the main page come monday morning...
-
point well made.... great thread even with my wack thread jack

Had a blast!! LCD and Joan were the best!!

nah, it's the pots and the kettles.
I'm fully aware of the original wording. It was a creative update for more modern kitchens.
