A riot breaks out when they played SXSW

Like, this is the same band with the elephant-trunk-on-their-faces album covers, right? And people are rioting for them??  After their break-up post their only album???  Am I missing something here????

Wow. I knew people missed them but that was unexpected. I will say they are one hell of a live band. Especially in small, crowded spaces.

Does anyone know the capacity of Beauty Bar? I've read a few things about this, but I haven't found the capacity. It said there was as many people outside, if not more, than there was inside. I know a couple who went and said it was a little crazy, but only about 15 minutes or so then they resumed playing.

Was really just hoping for a tour anouncement hahahaha

Beauty Bar is probably the size of DC9.....250 people max?  (and with backyard and patio)

It's not surprising that there was more than 500+ fans of DFA1979 there..... They're anounced to play at Camp Bisco :D

Shit like this and the weekend long twitter barrage of people not getting into venues even with badges, is why I'll never pay out of pocket to go to SXSW. It has seemed like a total cluster-fuck for the last couple of years.
