Title: A Perfect Circle
Post by: Ruggers on March 21, 2011, 10:07:40 pm
A Perfect Circle is coming to DC at DAR Constitution Hall. Is there any on sale date information? I can't find any or a listing of it on DAR's website, only on APC's website. That is if it is held by IMP...(Sorry if this is the wrong place, I'm new)

Some shows at DAR are promoted by IMP, and some are not.  If it is an IMP show, there will probably be onsale information listed on the 9:30 club site in advance of the onsale, and possibly before that in the weekly email blast that you can sign up for.

If it is not an IMP show, then there will probably be onsale information on Ticketmaster.com a few days before the show goes onsale.

The onsale date will probably be a friday or saturday in the next few weeks.

They go on sale Friday. But damn $82 for APC is a bit overpriced. I wonder why its so expensive. The venue? The prices differ so much from place to place on ticketmaster. Some venues are almost $30 cheaper.

The venue? The venue is a piece of crap! If anything there should be a big discount on DAR shows!

The reason its high is that the promoter offered them X amount of money and they took it... Bands don't usually take the lesser offer btw!

Yeah, I saw that, too. I could understand paying $80 to see Tool at Constitution Hall, but APC? C'mon.

Maynard has some new vineyard to fund.

The two most angry, anti-file sharing "musicians" I can remember who completely could not understand the perspective of the music consumer were Maynard and one of the douches from Filter.  And LOOK AT 'EM NOW!

I LOVE Schadenfreude!

Plus, A Perfect Circle once covered the single worst song in existence.  "Imagine."  I mean, if you cover that song......just put the gun barrel in your mouth and do us all a favor...

I like the song 'Imagine.'
I wouldn't pay $80 to see TOOL at DAR.
