it's good stuff, and, until the alcohol really kicks in, it does have a slightly unusual effect...*twitch* green fairy! where??!??!?

Probably because no one could remember what happened the night before.  I can certainly say this was a primary cause.

You can find absinthe sold at a bar in New Orleans called Pirate's Alley Cafe.  They serve it a la "From Hell" with the burning sugar cube.  Very cool place that I sat (and drank) in this past Halloween!  :)

Not in Maryland you can't, thanks to our prohibatory liquor laws in this fucking state     ;)    Some very nice stuff there. I do have a couple spoons already. Now I just need the oh, so sweet nectar.

yup. . i think i had too much of that one night in praha.  course, i had had quite a few staropramen as well.
