Interesting. The plot thickens.

Wow. I never would have guess WTOP is the most profitable radio station in the country.
Traffic and weather together on the eights.
-
getting my resume ready. LOL.

Hopefully they don't staff their newsroom with right wing hacks like WTOP.

I always thought that listening to WTOP for an hour straight offers an unvarnished peak into the id of the DC suburbanite. Adverts for elective surgeries and home window replacement abound.
-
Best ads are the ones that are so "DC centric", Aircraft promotions (F22 raptors et al), Defense Contractors, and the like.

Traffic and weather together... on the 8's. ...Commercials on the 1's, 4's, 7's and 9's!!

Except for AM and PM rush, TOP is basically the same shit repeated every hour, except for traffic and weather on the 8s.

Well, think about it. Who is TOP's biggest competition? I'd say AMU, and AMU is much, much more than the same regurgitated news stories every hour. Plus with such awful traffic here, people drivers are obsessed with traffic coverage.
