nice line-up. not their best, but solid. gonna have to consider attending this year.
-
Good lineup; better than the last couple, for sure but I doubt I have another in me.
-
I think that's a great line-up. If I weren't doing SXSW I'd do that in a heartbeat.
-
Wow! I've never been west of North Dakota, but I might have to make the Cali trip this year. What a lineup. I really doubt I could see ATDI, Refused, James, Kasabian, Kaiser Chiefs, Radiohead, Mazzy Star, Squeeze, Miike Snow and so on all in one weekend ever again.
My biggest concern is the overlaps. Saturday in particular looks insanely packed, and I know I'd end up missing a few bands I want to see. Sunday conversely looks pretty relaxed.
-
Yeah, that Saturday lineup is ridiculous...
Doing Bonnaroo this year again, so hopefully their lineup can top this...
-
so what do the two dates mean -- April 13 & 20, etc.? They're not going to do it twice ??
-
Yup. Same festival back-to-back weekends.

worry more about the sound bleed during Mazzy Star's set....

Really nice lineup. Definitely one of my favorite places to go! Wish I had the money to attend this year.
-
there is no way I can attend, but I would love to see Refused :/
-
Jazz Fest lineup is 100 times better.
-
So everyone's shitting about ATDI (which I'd dig), the Refused (which I'd checkout) and the rest, but no one is mentioning fIREHOSE?!?!?!

I agree!!!

...and Madness...

...and Pulp...
Does this mean more US dates? Hey Seth!
-

reminder: there are ways of doing coachella without turning it into a violation of the geneva convention on human rights. your refugee-camp experience is not the norm.
-
Firehose was definitely the one that immediately caught my attention. Along with Madness and Greg Ginn.
Hey Seth....

I must be in the minority here. It's a good lineup, excited for Madness, Buzzcocks, Mazzy Star, Radiohead, Refused, Pulp, GY!BE, the Black Angels, Greg Ginn and a few others, but the electronic side is a let down. Definitely not as good as the past few years, 2010 was my favorite. I'm on the fence. I'll do some research. I've already got my ticket tho.
-
My favorite thing about the two weeks is that many of these bands are going to kill time in between by playing local shows.
With a week or two of warm up shows, the week in between, and the week after, most of the bands I want to see will play smaller bay area show.

agreed. there is either going to be a lot of silence or a lot of unknowns in the sahara tent.
-
Last year all of the good electronic stuff was in the Mojave. Leftfield, Trentmoller, and a couple of others too. The Sahara has been going downhill for a bit now :(

weekend 1 sold out.
