1/2 Revolution Friday
Searching for Sugar Man and We Are Legion Saturday
Radio Unnameable Sunday
Most psyched for Searching For Sugar Man.

I hope Rodriguez eventually comes back to town with a more competent band than the one he had with him when he was here in '09.

you might as well be speaking Chinese I'm afraid..
-
I want to see We Are Legion on sat, hopefully it will happen
-
I also wanted to get to Ann Richards' Texas but it sold out. Quite a few others look great to me but four in one weekend is enough.
-
would like to see Detropia but sold out too..
-
That does look good.

I'm not a huge fan of documentaries, but I'm going to the showing of "Big Easy Express" on closing night.
-
Would love to see The Source and A Band in DC. These conflicts are lame.

I usually enjoy a documentary now and then. Especially love music docs. I'm a sucker for almost any of them, even of bands or musicians whom I don't like at all; unless it's Michael Jackson, whom I can't stand and think has been overdone. They sort of give me an opportunity to learn something about these musicians and some insight into their music in a way that I'm not necessarily getting by only listening to their music. There's always something interesting to be learned by most of them.
Looks like there's a lot of good stuff. Only wish that I could make it to some of them but just too far away. Will just have to look forward to seeing them elsewhere sometime in the future.

Big Easy Express was fantastic!

No Rodriguez appearance like at the LA fest but Searching for Sugar Man was brilliant.
We Are Legion was slow. Tons of unnecessary banter.
They added screenings of The Revisionaries and Detropia. May hit one or both of those.
-
It's unfortunate Searching for Sugar Man overlapped with Big Easy Express. They should have delayed Searching for Sugar Man by about 30 minutes so that the two music docs weren't competing with each other. I would have liked to have seen both.

Wonder if he is touring with the doc? I wouldn't mind seeing it again.
I made it to The Revisionaries (really good but disturbing; Texas might as well be another planet.) and Detropia (biggest buzzkill of the weekend for me but also done well) yesterday.

Did anyone see DON?T STOP BELIEVIN?: EVERYMAN?S JOURNEY? I wanted to see that, but it was sold out the day after tickets went on sale.
-
That looked fun but yeah it was next to impossible to get tickets to it.
I also really wanted to catch the Bad Brains doc but didn't get a chance.
-
This video probably covers the whole movie in nine minutes.
