Title: Set Times at DC9

I've not been to DC9 for an actual concert. How do they typically arrange set times?

I've got a ticket for the Ash show on the 15th. There are two openers. I'm thinkin 9.30/10.30/11.30? Earlier? Later?

Am I the only one surprised that Ash is playing such a small venue? Didn't they play either the black cat or 930 when they were last here about 6 years ago? Though maybe it'd been longer? *fuzzy memory*

generally post set times on the site (show page) on the day of show.

Weren't they at RnR Hotel last time?  But still, DC9 is even smaller....

Last time (I think) was at the Black Cat - a dual-headliner with The Bravery.

What's the capacity there?  250-300?  I'm really surprised this isn't sold out yet.

I concur that the last show was at the Black Cat and that tour didn't start out as a co-headlining tour, but rather turned into one because the Bravery "broke".  Still a tad bitter that about the last minute switch, felt that Ash got the shaft then.  On the plus side I didn't have to suffer through a Bravery set.

Was really hoping this would be "An Evening With Ash" with no openers, with me being really old and what not.  May have an extra, kosmette will likely pass on this one now...

tell me about it... that time is right on the cusp of whether or not the show will be over by time the last train towards Greenbelt is.  i keep telling myself it's worth the bother of going from work downtown, back home and then driving back down to dc9.

I would not recommend counting on metro....what if they start later (pretty feasible with two openers)?

Yup already factored in, still wish it had been an "Evening with" or a Fri/Sat show.  Don't understand the need for two support acts, i'm sure the ex-pats will be drinking more than their share from the get go.

Ash just posted they are hoping to mount a full scale US tour next year.
