Title: Like me, five of the last seven Presidents are southpaws
Post by: Charlie Nakatestes, Japanese Golfer on November 21, 2008, 08:52:00 am
Ford, Reagan, Bush I, Clinton, and Obama are all left-handed. Only Carter and GW Bush were righties (arguably the two least effective, though the jury is of course still out on Barack).

 McCain is also left-handed.

Any other other southpaws on the board? Say it loud and say it proud.

My dad, and Grandmother are both left handed and I have always been jealous ever since she first sent him books about all the great and famous lefties.

Also jealous of the symmetry of the Beatles George/Paul stage setup...

if you are a lefty, does it feel better to have "self fun" with your other hand?  i am a righty, and boy does my left hand sure knows what it is doing!

sit on one of your hands til it falls asleep then commence self fun with the numb hand.

that's what we used to call "a stranger".

I'm surprised and thrilled to see so many lefties on the board! YES! I too am a left-handed person. When I was a kid, my auntie gave me a left-handed water pitcher that's made out of ceramics. It has a really cool quote on it about being a lefty.

anyway, I'm a proud lefty to say the least. One thing for all of us to keep in mind is that we are the only board members to think with the right side of our brains! (hahaha, but really we do)

Completely ambidextrous, but I mostly write with my left hand.

 Do I count?

No.  My right hand is nearly completely useless.

i bet the yankees would pay you a $2 million a year if you could throw a baseball for a strike. . .or at least throw the ball from a funny arm angle.

That never worked for me.

Dating other lefties was also problematic.

That didn't work for me. Of course I never got past Augie Garrido, though.  Maybe I should have started with the Steinbrenners...
