god I hate these guys so much.. they are so horrible..its hard to believe they were playing stadiums at one point...
anyways I enjoyed this Yow interview

They were good in the early 70's. Times change and styles change. David Crosby didn't have much talent but Stephen Stills and Neil Young , and Graham Nash wrote some good songs. Don't know much about Jesus Lizard.

well I'd prefer not to get Neil mixed up with them but it is true that when they were playing stadiums Young was with them..

One of the most half-a**ed shows I ever witnessed was CSN @ wolf trap a few years back.
Hit the parking lot very early.
They were back @ the lube a few years later opening for Tom Petty (who was fantastic) and were mercifully brief, although somewhat more together.
However, the last tour w/Y was awesome. He always lights a fire under those guys, but still leaves them in the dust.
Without Y, it's just not worth the bother.
