Without a doubt.  But what they did with the Kirsten story line was among the most egregious in all of television.  No buildup, whatsoever, then she's a drunk, a cheat, high school dating service that was a prostitution ring, and then gets knocked up at 40?

Still irks me.
You could tell the writers had literally no idea what to do with the character when they wrote her. It was an aimless meandering from episode 3 onward.

You could just tell they sat around and said, "Holy shit, we need something for Kirsten here..." and everything they came up with was shit which is bizarre since the rest of the show was consistently gold, as you know, sir.
